Ombré

Since the very first moment I saw the ombré lip look at Prabal Gurung I knew I had to try it. You might have noticed I don’t use much make up, sometimes none at all. But since I went for a darker hair colour, I started to play with lipstick in different shades. You might not notice the ombré very much because of the procession of photos in toycamera, but it looks really amazing, very sensual yet not too provocative. And about toycamera...every time I take outfit pictures I try not to give them special effects, but this polaroid feel they get is just so chic and movie-like don’t you think? Or would you prefer me to publish the unchanged shots?

Singing in the rain

Well not exactly…I just like the musical and it was raining in London yesterday. And in the pictures where it looks like I'm pretending to be Marry Poppins with a flying umbrella it's actually the strong wind giving me a hard time. As for my look… Very minimal, black with a hint of neurosis in the form of the printed blouse. Haven’t worn these Gucci pants in a while, so voila le outfit! Oh and the beanie is just there, I figured it gives an unexpected twist to a formal suit.

Sorry for the very words-less posts for the past few days, I have a hectic time at uni and the only thing that makes me keep up is the thought that in less than 19 days I shall be home with my family!! Now I’m off to study for my Law Monster test tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Les vitrines

There are books that teach you something; that stop you from committing anything stupid or ridiculous. The others tell you a story. I have a third type of book-a Haruki Murakami book. I have moments in life when I just need to re-read some of his just for the sake of the feeling it gives me. I can’t even explain it. It’s like I’m in vacuum for some time after reading any brilliant piece he has written. I discovered him when I was still in school, advised by my literature teacher (I must say she is one of the most powerful and accomplished women I know and admire very much). His characters  are like from another planet for me. They do completely random things at random times with such nonchalance! They don’t seem to care much about time or money. However, they have a strong cultural education- listening to Bach, Schubert and Vivaldi and reading the most profound literature. Well, now it’s one of those periods when I badly  feel the need to transcend in his world, which is why I ordered his last book, which I am very eager to read. No outfit post for today, just a few pictures of les vitrines I took Wednesday night when walking back from the cinema(I saw ‘In time’) .

Weekend out of town

Hello tootsies) Yesterday i spent an amazing day with my parents outside the city in a cute restaurant called "La Badish".They have a really traditional design and amazing food! I planed to keep the Ducan diet but that was obviouslly impossible)) Shame on me! I chose a very casual ,simple outfit to wear. The shirt is from Ralph Lauren(he's a genius when it comes to shirts!),the shorts i cut out from a pair of Zara jeans i got tired of wearing, the flats are Chanel as well as the vintage earings. The bag is DVF and the bracelet is Prada(one of my favs) What d you think? How do you spend your las summer days?Share share share!!)

Norwegian Wood

You might have noticed i have quite a lot of striped things) This tight relashionship with stripy clothes started from my very childhood, enharited from my  very stilish granny.A simple casual outfit for a chilly rainy day.
By the way i have to share with you the impressions from the movie  Norwegian Wood, which i watched a while ago and it's based on Haruki Murakami's book.No need to say i couldn't expect it to be better,a very precise screening of the book( which is brilliant as all other Murakami stuff). And the soundtrack had been on my mind for a while The Beatles-Norwegian Wood

First of all i have to apologize for not posting such a long time.I have my personal reasons which i mentioned on tumblr and can say again that i had a little surgery. But happily everything is ok) Now,revenons a nos moutons and here is today's outfit. It's stripy and very summery.
In my opinion it's perfect for a day walk around the town. The golden necklace i fell in love with is amazing and goes well with almost everything in my wordrobe. Also i introduce you the DVF cutch which i got in Paris but i haven't worn since.Do you like?

Little bad girl

Finally rain in this country! I thought i'd suffocate because of the heat! I got to wear my lovely Trussardi jeans pulling up a very casual yet chic outfit. Also i think it's the first time i'm wearing my Chanel's in an actual outfit post.Don't you just love these shoes? And the biggest plus is that they are so comfy i could run the marathon in them ( not that i have ever run the marathon but nevermind :D )

Also here is tiny tiny video shot by chance by my mom) She thought she was taking a piture)
